The budget for the upgradation of various airports in the far west has been allocated in a meeting of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal on Sunday.
The meeting was presided over by Tourism Minister Prem Bahadur Ali. 1 billion has been allocated for Dhangarhi airport. Similarly, a budget of Rs 26.5 million has been allocated for the Gokuleshwar airport at Darchula.
A budget of Rs 1 crore 50 lakh 44 thousand 247 has been allocated for the upgradation of Baitadi airport at Patan, Baitari. The budget has been allocated under the multi-year project.
Similarly, budget has also been allocated for Doti Airport, Sanphebagar Airport, Kamal Bazar Airport, Mahendranagar Airport, Bajura Airport and Dadeldhura Airport.
