Two films of Dayahang were released during the festival of Tihar this year

The festival equation looks interesting at the Nepali box office. Hollywood’s much-awaited ‘Black Adam’ with four domestic films is gearing up for an October 21 release.

The makers are going to screen the film on that date to earn lucrative earnings during the festival time. ‘Ke Ghar Ke Dera‘, directed by Dipendra K Khanal, has fixed October 21 as the date of release at a press conference on Wednesday evening. It stars Dayahang Rai and Vipin Karki in lead roles. Another film ‘Dui Numbri‘ by Dayhang and Saugata Malla will also be screened on the same date.

Santosh Pant’s ‘Nalapani’ and Salon Basnet’s ‘Milan’ will also be shown on the same date. Confusion has arisen after the release dates of two of Dayhang’s films were fixed on the same day.

The release of two films of the same star on the same date is considered risky for the artist and the film’s commercial future. Also, the artist has a moral problem in running in the promotion of the film.
